Own It · A Beingsphere Programme

Ownership is the missing element in your organisation.

A six-week behavioural transformation programme that closes the ownership gap through structured practice, accountability, and an environment where ownership becomes standard practice.

The Problem

You already recognise the challenges.
You simply have not found the right system to address them.

You have attended post-mortems for projects that missed deadlines repeatedly. You have followed up diplomatically and persistently on commitments that should have been met independently. The issue is not your people, but the absence of an ownership system.

Visible drag on the business

Decisions that should be handled at lower levels are escalated unnecessarily. Meetings conclude without clear accountability. Innovation initiatives fade because no one assumes responsibility for implementation.

The Guide

Beingsphere has seen this before. In organisations like yours. Across Africa.

In banking halls, telecommunications headquarters, FMCG operations, and healthcare networks, we have observed the ownership gap firsthand and witnessed the impact of implementing the right infrastructure. The transformation is visible, specific, and measurable, beginning in the first week.

Our Empathy

We know you have been here before.

You have tried various solutions without success and still face the same challenges. Our programme is built differently: grounded in behavioural science, system design, and structured accountability, rather than inspiration or fleeting motivation.

Our Authority

A purpose-built behavioural activation system.

Own It was developed through nine structured steps. Each week builds on the previous one, with every session applied to real work. Accountability systems remain in place after the six-week programme, shifting not only individual behaviour but also team culture.

The Programme

Six weeks. A permanent change in how your people show up.

Own It is not a workshop series; it is a transformation programme. While workshops transfer information, Own It builds new behaviours.

  1. 01
    Week 01Step 1 / 6

    The Foundation of Ownership

Participants complete a rigorous personal ownership audit across five domains: initiative, accountability, decision-making, execution, and professional standards. By the end of Week 1, they have a documented ownership baseline and a personal development focus.

  2. 02
    Week 02Step 2 / 6

    Accountability Without Blame

We address the tendency to attribute failure externally. Participants learn the ownership language framework and develop a new perspective on failure, viewing it as information rather than identity.

  3. 03
    Week 03Step 3 / 6

    Initiative and Decision-Making

A decision-making framework clarifies what should be handled independently versus escalated. Participants recognise that many escalations are within their mandate. The bottleneck is often habitual, not structural.

  4. 04
    Week 04Step 4 / 6

    Execution Discipline

The commitment architecture framework enables participants to design personal execution systems for their highest-priority work, apply them throughout the week, and review results, including failures, in the following session.

  5. 05
    Week 05Step 5 / 6

    Leadership at Every Level

Participants develop three behaviours: influencing without authority, elevating colleagues, and accepting responsibility for outcomes beyond their direct remit. Ownership shifts from individual to collective.

  6. 06
    Week 06Step 6 / 6

    The Own It Commitment

Participants present personal ownership plans and formalise peer accountability. The cohort leaves with a fundamentally transformed relationship to their work.
